Description
Start your tour with a pickup from your accommodation between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM. Hop aboard your comfortable tour vehicle and set-off toward the National Mae Wang Elephant Habitat Park on a 1-hour and 20-minute journey into the south of Chiang Mai.Arrive at the Habitat Park and enjoy a meet-and-greet with the local staff. Before starting your experience, listen as the local handlers provide you with interesting facts about elephants and how they are taken care of.Once you’ve filled up on all the facts, follow your guides as they assist you in feeding some of these incredible creatures yourself. Get up close and personal with these magnificent animals and learn how to make herbal vitamin balls, a major source of nutrition for the elephants. Get close, interact, hug, and photograph the residing elephants.Finish your elephant feeding and head out local bamboo rafting on an exploration of the surrounding area for 45-minutes along the Mae Wang River.Enjoy a traditional lunch in an idyllic setting by the river and rest for a while before your transfer back to your accommodation.
